As I have stated before, one of the best perks of building pedals is the people I get to meet. Last November I was contacted by Paulo Neta who currently plays guitar for Big Wreck. Paulo was unhappy with the compressor he had on his pedal board and wanted something with higher fidelity and more control. The 5 Knob Compressor was the obvious choice and so off to sound check at Hamilton Place I went. After meeting Paulo and some of the guys from the band and the crew (all nice guys), Paulo tried out the 5 Knob Compressor, loved it, bought it, and he threw out his old comp. (Check out picture of the 5 knob Compressor installed on Paulo's board). Paulo and the guys were all real nice guys and afterwards Paulo and I enjoyed a coffee and talked about guitar gear and life in general. To top it all off Paulo was kind enough to give me a couple of tickets for the show that night and so I got to take my lovely bride to a great concert (Big Wreck really tore it up that night :D) and hear my work in action in one of the best sounding venues in Canada!
Blessing to all, and thanks again Paulo.
